Neil Young’s fourth solo album remains one of the most beloved in his catalog and is dense with songs that have long-permeated radio waves. The 50th Anniversary Edition Box Sets will be released December 2nd on Vinyl and CD, boasting the original album, three studio outtakes on CD/7” vinyl, an unreleased live 1971 BBC solo performance on CD, LP and DVD. The film Harvest Time is a previously unseen 2-hour documentary filmed in 1971, documenting the Harvest sessions. Also included in the package is a hardbound book and fold-out poster. The vinyl box sets include a lithograph print.Fans of the record will receive a new glimpse into Harvest through the two DVDs included in the box set. The first is Harvest Time, an unreleased two-hour film shot during the making of Harvest, with footage from Young’s ‘Harvest Barn’ sessions in Northern California, recording sessions in Nashville and London. "For A Thousand Beers" contains all TANKARD albums which were released by Noise.Tankard was founded in 1982 and is a German thrash metal band from Frankfurt am Main. Along with Kreator, Destruction and Sodom, they are one of the "Big Four" of German thrash metal. Stylistically at home in thrash metal, their songs are mainly about alcohol. With "Zombie Attack" they released their first album in July 1986. A year later, in October 1987, followed their second album, "Chemical Invasion" and in 1988 "The Morning After". After the first drummer, Oliver Werner, left the band and was replaced by Arnulf Tunn, the three albums were released: "The Meaning of Life", "Stone Cold Sober" and "Two-Faced". At the same time Tankard released the live album: "Fat, Ugly and Live". After that the line up of the band changed again. In May 1994 Arnulf Tunn was replaced by Olaf Zissel, who still plays the drums today. One year later another founding member, Axel Katzmann, was forced to leave the band due to arthritis in his wrist. Jeff Beck - Tim Bogert - Carmen AppiceUpon seeing a September 1972 rehearsal, Melody Maker’s Chris Welch wrote, “Tim and Carmine are the mostferocious rhythm section extant, and quite frankly the combination that Jeff Beck could lead to be the first successor to Cream, both in terms of success and excitement.”England’s other major music publication, New Musical Express, would concur upon seeing one of the new power trio’s first shows: “BBA are an ensemble of virtually unparalleled magnificence. The heaviest thing on six legs: Beck, Bogert & Appice.”BBA was a short-lived super group made up of Jeff Beck (Guitar/Vocals), Tim Bogert (Bass/Vocals), and Carmen Appice (Drums/Vocals). Their brief, meteoric trajectory as a band included the 1973 release of their eponymous debut studio album, Beck, Bogert & Appice. On May 18th and 19th 1973, they recorded a live show at Koseinenkin Hall in Osaka, Japan, which was released as Live In Japan. The album was only released in Japan and has not been in print widely for some time.The rights to the Live In Japan audio reverted to the band several years ago. Jeff Beck’s team also discovered a previously unreleased live show recorded at the Rainbow Theatre in London on the 26th of January 1974. The original masters were located and cleaned up where necessary by all three band members, with full approval by Carmine Appice, Tim Bogert, who passed away in 2021 and Jeff Beck, who passed earlier this year. These two amazing live shows will now be properly released or the first time in five decades as BECK, BOGERT & APPICE Live 1973 & 1974.Both shows include an eclectic mix of rock, blues, boogie and experimental cuts that reflect the musical prowess of the super group. “Superstition” appears in both concerts, with a heavy pocket groove, highlighted by Beck’s solo and Talk Box contributions. “Going Down” and “Morning Dew,” featured in the Japan set, went on to become ongoing staples in Beck’s live show. In 1992 Dave Clarke launched his own music label, Magnetic North, releasing recordings under the moniker Fly By Wire. He then produced a series of EPs under the name Red, one of which was listed by the DJ Mag publication in its "All Time Techno Top 100" list. The Red recordings led to a significant level of attention for Clarke, who subsequently produced remixes for prominent artists such as Kevin Saunderson’s ‘Inner City’, The Chemical Brothers, New Order and Underworld.Signed to the de-Construction label, Clarke then released his debut album, Archive One in 1996, which contained elements of the breakbeat and electronica genres. Clarke is one of the few DJs who performed live on Peel's radio show and segments of the performance were released as The John Peel Session EP on the Strange Fruit label in 1997, with Peel coining him as ‘The Techno Baron’. Peel then identified Archive 1 as number 14 in a list of his top 20 albums in the same year.Fast forward to 2023, 30 years after the inception of this body of work, and after both the album and series being unavailable at retail for over twenty years on vinyl (copies have been exchanging on Discogs in the meantime for up to £250), remastered original versions and bonus remixes are being released in a limited edition, one time pressing, exclusive 6 vinyl set slipcase box with signed photo and 16 page booklet written by Dave Clarke himself.Both Archive One and The Red Series are hailed as the defining techno albums and 12 inches of the genre. Paavo Berglund (1929-2012) was recognised as a father-figure in modern Sibelius conducting. He notably recorded no less than 3 times his complete symphonies, with the Bournemouth Orchestra, the Helsinki Philharmonic and later with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. Besides much music of his homeland and Scandinavia in general he was able to demonstrate his prowess in Russian music, particularly Shostakovich, and flair for British music including Vaughan Williams and Bliss. After his time in Bournemouth and Helsinki he conducted all the major British orchestras as well as the Berlin Philharmonic, Leipzig Gewandhaus, Staatskapelle Dresden and the New York Philharmonic and Cleveland Orchestras.

An avid recordist, Abram taped concerts at The Matrix regularly and his recordings of The Doors, made between March 7-11, 1967, spawned one of the band’s most storied bootlegs. At long last, all known Matrix recordings, sourced entirely from Abram’s original master recordings, will be released on September 8.Bootlegs of The Matrix shows have circulated among fans for years and were popular despite the poor audio quality of most copies. The sound began improving in 1997 when the first two songs from The Matrix shows were officially released on The Doors: Box Set. Even more performances followed in 2008 on Live at the Matrix 1967; regrettably, it was discovered soon after that all the recordings were sourced from third-generation tapes, not the originals.Today, Abram’s original recordings have been remastered by Bruce Botnick, The Doors’ longtime engineer/mixer, for official release. The vinyl version of LIVE AT THE MATRIX 1967: THE ORIGINAL MASTERS includes all 37 songs from the shows sourced from the master tapes. Except for 15 songs released in 2017 and 2018 as Record Store Day exclusives, most of the newly upgraded live recordings are making their debut in the collection, including eight that have never been featured on any of the previous Matrix releases.It’s easy to understand the enduring appeal of these vintage performances by Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger, and John Densmore. Recorded only a few months before “Light My Fire” propelled the band to worldwide success, the tapes capture The Doors playing a wide range of songs, including several from their self-titled debut, like “Break On Through,” “Soul Kitchen,” and “The End.” They also performed half the songs destined for the group’s soon-to-be-recorded second album, Strange Days, including early performances of “Moonlight Drive” and “People Are Strange.” 15 Sets of music over five nights at The Matrix gave the band time to indulge its love of the blues with extended covers of “I’m A King Bee” and “Crawling King Snake.” The Doors even delivered an instrumental version of “Summertime.”TracklistLP 101.
